'Where's the patient?' 'I am the patient,' Jeff Gordon says - Sprint Cup Series - Scenedaily.com

AVONDALE, Ariz. – While talking about his massive crash Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Jeff Gordon recalled a somewhat-humorous visit to a hospital after a big wreck at Pocono Raceway in 2006.
Gordon lost the brakes in his No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet heading into Turn 1 at Pocono and slammed the outside wall. He was fine, though he was sent to a New York hospital for a CAT scan.
“This part of the hospital, I don’t think many of their patients walk in,” Gordon said.
“I’m here for my CAT scan,” Gordon told hospital personnel.
“Well, where’s the patient?”
“Well, I am the patient.”
“They told us there was a car accident.”
“Yeah.”
“How fast were you traveling?”
“About 200 when the brakes went out. I think I hit about 150, 160 mph.”
“No, seriously. Where’s the patient?"

Thanks Scenedaily, that is funny.  I can picture this almost like an Abbot and Costello 'Whose on First' routine.
